        天然鳞片石墨经化学方法处理，可以使其形成石墨层间化合物，经高温处理，使之急速分解再次发生膨胀，体积可增至原来的100 ~ 400倍，便是可膨胀石墨。可膨胀石墨又称柔性石墨或者酸化石墨。
        性质：具有良好的可膨胀性，疏松多孔，隔氧条件下耐温范围较宽，可在-200~3000℃之间，在高温、高压或辐射条件下化学性质稳定。
        用途：可做密封材料，阻燃材料，吸附材料，医疗、膨胀蠕虫粉末可以用于锂电池材料。
